These are not Muslim soldiers. They are Sikh soldiers as anyone can guess from their turbans.
These Soliders are 100% Sikh. The Sikh population was scattered evenly between present day Pakistan and India before both countries were partitioned in 1947, so it is likely this photo could have been taken in Pakistan. Parihav (talk) 21:06, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Actually the photo caption does say "All Hindustani Musalmans", simply wearing turbans does not make someone Sikh, otherwise what about these chaps? Pahari Sahib 00:57, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
