Burke's professional career began in 2006 with an appearance in the cult comedy film "Evil Bong".
In 2007, Burke appeared on the VH1 reality show "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" as one of twenty-five beautiful women vying for Bret Michaels attention (the former lead singer for Poison), trying to prove they had the potential to be the perfect "Rock Star Girlfriend". Burke, competing under the name Brandi C., made it through the first three rounds before being eliminated in Episode 4.
Burke made her first adult film later in 2007. On June 10, 2007, Burke spoke of her fledging career in adult films, stating in an interview with AVN, "It's really fun and exciting, and I'm meeting a lot of new friends. So far I've done one feature for Hustler, and I'm also going to be in Hustler magazine." She went on to say, "I'm doing boy/girl, girl/girl, pretty much everything. Why hold back?"
The following month, on July 25, 2007, Burke claimed she is "not actually in the adult entertainment business" and after her first film she decided, "it wasn't for me and [I have] moved on". However, since that interview she has made at least three other adult films.
Burke is scheduled to be on another VH1 reality show, the "I Love Money: Challenge Show" casting special on June 6, 2008, as well as the season premier on June 13, 2008. She has also appeared as a celebrity at various Lingerie Bowl events.
