British Safety Industry Federation

The British Safety Industry Federation is a UK trade organization with 160 members concerned with manufacture, testing and use of equipment in an occupational health and safety context. Safety consultancies are also members. It was formed in 1994. The president is Sir John Cullen. It is recognised as a "Competent Body" by the Health and Safety Executive.

The BSIF is a federation of seven independent Trade Associations as follows. Some companies are members of more than one of the seven.
