British Balloon Modelling Convention 2007

The first British Balloon Modelling Convention (BBMC) was held as part of the British Juggling Convention 2007(BJC) in Nottingham. This was the first time a balloon modelling convention was hosted in the United Kingdom. The BBMC featured an assortment of workshops and competitions.

The Best British Creative Modelling Team

  • 11th April, 5-6pm
  • This competition is open to any Group of 3-5 wishing to take part as a Team - Please read the rules first! Each team will be provided with a mystery Box of balloons and will be given 1 hour to create their best 'wearable creation' worthy of winning The Best British 'Creative Modelling Team' Title.

The Best British Figure Modeller

  • 12th April, 1-2pm
  • This competition is open to any individual wishing to take part - Please read the rules first! Each competitor will be provided with a mystery envelope of balloons and will be given half an hour to create their best 'Multi Balloon Figure' worthy of winning The Best British 'Balloon Figure Modeller' Title.

The Best British Outer Space Modelling Team

  • 12th April, 5-6pm
  • This competition is open to any Group of 3-5 wishing to take part as a Team - Please read the rules first! Each team will be provided with a mystery Box of balloons and will be given 1 hour to create their best 'Out of Space Themed Creation' worthy of winning The Best British 'Outer Space Modelling Team' Title.

The Best British Hat Modeller

  • 12th April, 1-2pm
  • This competition is open to any individual wishing to take part - Please read the rules first! Each competitor will be provided with a mystery envelope of balloons and will be given half an hour to create their best 'Gigantic Hat' worthy of winning The Best British 'Hat Modeller' Title.

The Best British Impossible is Possible Modelling Team

  • 12th April, 5-6pm
  • This competition is open to any Group of 3-5 wishing to take part as a Team - Please read the rules first! Each team will be provided with a mystery Box of balloons and will be given 1 hour to create their best 'Impossible is Possible Themed Creation' worthy of winning The Best British 'Impossible is Possible Modelling Team' Title.
