Bridget Cracroft-Eley

Bridget Katharine Cracroft-Ely, CVO, JP ( born 29 October 1933) is a former British secretary and farmer and the current Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire.
The daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Weston Cracroft-Amcotts and Rhona Clifton-Brown, she was High Sheriff of Lincolnshire from 1989 to 1990. Since 1995, she has been Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire and a Justice of Peace. In the same year, Cracroft-Eley received an honorary doctorate by the De Montfort University and in 1997, she became High Steward of Lincoln Cathedral.
On 31 October 1959, she married Robert Peel Charles Cracroft-Eley (d. 1996), son of Charles Ryves Maxwell-Eley. They have two children, one son and one daughter.
She was appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in the 2008 New Year Honours.
