Brian Morgan Edwards

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brian Morgan Edwards (19342003) was a Welsh businessman, and a prominent supporter of Plaid Cymru.

Edwards, who came from Swansea, was originally a member of the UK Conservative Party, but changed his allegiance because of his nationalist beliefs.

In 1969, in partnership with Welsh singers Dafydd Iwan and Huw Jones, Edwards launched the recording company Sain. It was Edwards who provided most of the finance.

He was also instrumental in setting up the first rural housing association in Wales, Cymdeithas Tai Gwynedd.
