Brian McBride[1] is the managing director of the Slough based [2]Amazon.com in the U.K.[3].
He was educated at Glasgow University where he graduated with an M.A. in Economics, History and Politics. He joined Xerox in 1977 and subsequently worked for IBM, Dell and, from 2003 to 2005, T-Mobile [4]where he was also managing director. He is married with two children, lives in Camberley, Surrey and plays tennis and golf in his spare time. He is also a non-executive director of the Scottish football club, Celtic F.C.
