Brian Maxine, known as 'Goldbelt', professional wrestler and cabaret artist. Born Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. British welterweight champion. In 1971, held the welterweight and middleweight titles before having to surrender the former. Known for his regular and flamboyant appearances in the 1970s on World of Sport.
Maxine also recorded country and western albums, backed by Fairpoint Convention.
