Brian Atkinson

Brian Atkinson (born January 19, 1971 in Darlington, England) is an English former footballer who played as a left or central midfielder.
Atkinson began his career with Sunderland and played in the 1992 FA Cup Final. He eventually lost his first team place, and would be loaned out to Carlisle United. In 1996, he joined Darlington, where he remained until his retirement from professional football in 2002.
