[edit] Released by the Twins?

A recent edit indicates that Boone was released by the Twins today. While it may be true, or it may come true soon, it needs a source. If this fact is confirmed, please use the phrase is a former rather than was; the guy isn't dead, he just isn't playing anymore. android79 21:18, August 1, 2005 (UTC)

  • I repeat, was implies that he is dead. Compare Pete Rose. Boone hasn't officially retired yet, and though I have little doubt that he will, using was is rather premature. android79 21:48, August 2, 2005 (UTC)
