Brent Whitfield (born January 8, 1981 in Long Beach, California) is an American soccer player who last played midfielder for C.D. Chivas USA of Major League Soccer.
Whitfield played college soccer at California State University, Fullerton, in four seasons there he scored 23 goals and registered 9 assists. Upon graduating he joined the Southern California Seahorses of the Premier Development League for the 2004 season. In 2005, he signed with the USL First Division side, the Seattle Sounders, where in 25 games he notched 6 goals.
In May of 2006, Brent signed with Chivas USA.
