My nickname says it all.

I've been a brat most of my life, which of course results in a definition of 'high maintenance', not always something to be proud of, however the type of high maintenance I am has nothing to do with vanity. Like most Leos, I need an abundance of attention, feeling bereft and low if I don't have what I need.

I seek enlightenment through Christ, so I had to include my soul in my name. I may not be where I want to be, but I am not where I once was. I seek growth as much as I can on a daily basis--it's been a difficult last year, so 2008 looks to be the one where I get back on the enlightenment track.

I'm generous almost to a fault, but I can get angry if my generousity is taken advantage of. I rarely judge anyone upon appearance, waiting to see the type of person they are before I decide where they stand with me.

I am just an average person with things that I enjoy doing in my average life. I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I love traveling and haven't done enough of it outside the USA to my liking. I plan on doing much more traveling in the future. I adore England, I am an admitted Anglophile. I've been to Las Vegas a number of times, spending time exploring the Grand Canyon and riding horses in Red Rock Canyon. There's much more to Las Vegas than just gambling!

I am an amatuer photographer, prefering not to use a digital camera for my work. I feel using a digital is lazy and aren't learning as much as you should with a camera and making the most of the equiptment you have as well as learning about your talents when taking pictures.

Just like most women do-and they rarely admit to doing to keep from being ridiculed-write poetry. Some of it very good, some of it barely passable, all teaching me how to express my feelings and thoughts and the way I perceive life and my surroundings.

I was given an opportunity by my church and pastor to contribute to our monthly news letter a whimisical item that has been going on the last 55 years. It's been an quite an experience living up to the woman who began the story articles so many years ago, her influence and ability to continue believing in God as well as retaining her faith when she was diagnosed with incurable cancer(she died a couple of months after being diagnosed)has sustained me whenever I feel down about my own life, and dealing with my own painful disability. I get better every time I write my articles and have heard many compliments on being able to continue to carry the torch so well.

Also at my church I have been handling the advertising, and will soon be webmaster to our website. It poses a challenge as it requires some updating and cleaning up, making it more attractive to the eye for those who find us on the internet.

I volunteer on a Community Board for a Health Center in my city. I try and volunteer as much as possible with Philadelphia Cares, which has many many projects within the city and surrounding areas that range from education(tutoring and teaching englsih as a second language) to assisting at Senior Centers with a variety of activities.

So there it is, who I am in a nutshell. No pictures will be provided as nothing here is safe and/or protected from the world.
