I have just removed a substantial portion of text from this article, which is a clear copyright violation lifted from Braemar Guide. This appears to have been added by 81.159.83.71 in August 2005. [1] Please feel free to refactor as necessary. --Cactus.man 15:36, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The images

This is an article about the village, Braemar. The two photos we have at the moment show scenic views of parts of the surrounding area, and are thus somewhat misleading, IMHO.--HisSpaceResearch 14:45, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. The first (rather good) photo looking down into the village is fine, perhaps, but photos probably still need to be revisited - e.g. Morrone Birkwood Nature Reserve + Linn o'Dee bridge images (should be able to replace former with PD image of Kindrochit Castle ruins as a lead to the history section, for example?). Looks a bit better on reformat/re-edit just carried out, but will check back later. Harami2000 16:04, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unofficial Capital of Royal Deeside

Removed this phrase during current reformat/re-edit. Poor choice of wording, IMO, and could not think of better to use in passing. Harami2000 16:04, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Other Places

I agree with the above - I suspect that both 'Linn Of Dee' and 'Morrone Birkwood Nature Reserve' photographs should be removed and their subjects considered candidates for their own articles WikiWriter (talk) 07:01, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
