- I think this is a big name in Mercedes tuning, but if someone in the know wants to write a decent encylopedic article they can do better than this.
Delete in current formkeep new version. Ianb 20:40, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC) - Keep. This is certainly a major company, but I agree that the article sucks - I have edited it and verified what little information was there, and now I think it's an okay stub. Rdsmith4 | Talk 15:59, 31 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Brabus' wroom is pretty famous. bbx 01:33, 1 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Looks good to me, and not being a car-type-person, I'll take your word on notability. --Ardonik 02:17, Aug 1, 2004 (UTC)

The result of the proposal was - unopposed move to follow WP:MOSTM. Keith D (talk) 17:54, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
BRABUS → Brabus — It is a syllabic abbreviation, not acronym (i.e. Bra.Bus., not B.R.A.B.U.S.) so should not be written in all caps as per WP:MOS-TM guidelines. —Fatsamsgrandslam (talk) 19:03, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

- Support. Agree that Wikipedia:Manual of Style (trademarks) supports Brabus as the article name. Andrewa (talk) 02:05, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Support as per nominator of move. Llamasharmafarmerdrama (talk) 23:07, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- Support. Writing own name in all capitals seems common among German companies, but rules of English say this should be written as "Brabus". Iamaleopard (talk) 21:58, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Discussion
- Per WP:MOS-TM, "Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules, regardless of the preference of the trademark owner." Examples of "Brabus" without all caps in external usage: BusinessWeek (USA), Edmunds.com (USA), Wheels 24 (South Africa), Autocar (GB), Jalopnik (Malaysia?).
