• Beschreibung/Description:Braunschweig: AOK-Gebäude, zwischen 1930 und 1945 von den Nationalsozialisten als „Schutzhaft“-Gefängnis missbraucht, in dem politisch Andersdenkende gefoltert wurden (Januar 2006). Brunswick, Germany: Building of the general health insurance (“AOK”). Between 1930 and 1945 it was abused by Nazis as a prison for preventive detention in which political opponents were being tortured (picture taken in January 2006).
