Bray-Dunes

Bray-Dunes (Brayduinen in Dutch) is a village and commune of the Nord département, in Flanders, France, at the Belgian border. It is the northernmost commune, and includes the northernmost point in all of France. (Geographic coordinates are 51° 04' 18" N, 02° 31' 42" E.) As of the 1999 census it had a population of 4,557 inhabitants. The land area of the commune is 8.57 km² (3.309 sq mi).
Bray-Dunes was the site of many casualties during World War II, as part of the Dunkirk evacuation.
