Brave New Land

Brave New Land (original title Brava Gente Brasileira) is a Brazilian drama film written and directed by LĂșcia Murat in 2000.

It is based on the verse of the journalist Evaristo da Veiga, wiritten by the chorus for the Hymn of the Independence of Brazil.

The film portraies the conflituous relation between Portuguese and indians in century XVIII.
