[edit] History

In 2005 Braintoy recorded and released a 5 song EP called Tremors with Toronto producer Rob Sanzo and original lead singer Brett Fitzgerald. The first track on the EP, Destitutorial, is featured on the soundtrack for the 2007 film Skinwalkers (film).

In the summer of 2006, Braintoy started recording their first LP with producer Andre Wahl in an isolated studio belonging to Hawksley Workman, three hours north of Toronto. During the recording process the band parted ways with lead singer Brett Fitzgerald. After a brief search for a new singer, the band found Tristan Green in early 2007 and continued the recording process. The resulting album, Vehicles , was mixed by noted producer and engineer Joe Barresi and released on April 1st, 2008.
