Brad Wright (born July 10, 1959 in Pearsall, Texas) is an American football coach. He currently serves as head coach at Texas State University–San Marcos.

Wright is a 1981 graduate of Texas State–San Marcos (then Southwest Texas State). He originally walked-on as a wide receiver, played a season at running back and then moved to the other side of the ball where he was a defensive leader at free safety and was a member of the Bobcats' 1980 Lone Star Conference championship team.

He went on to become a successful high school football coach. In 2004, Wrigth was hired as assistant to David Bailiff. Bailiff and Wright were teammates on the 1978-80 Bobcats teams. When Bailiff left Texas State for Rice University in 2007, Wright took over as head coach.
