Hi, I've been working on a series of articles relating to the important topic of Renewable energy commercialisation, and this page on BP Solar is an integral part of that. I am in no way affiliated with the company and would like the opportunity to change the writing style and add more info. Johnfos 05:34, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

BP Solar is important as it has been accused of trying to buy out solar energy patents, but is a major player, so I am going to remove the (non)notability tag. GB 10:53, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

BP recently founded BP Alternative Energy, which is a "business [which] aims to lead the market in low carbon alternative power generated from the sun, wind, natural gas and hydrogen". (from http://www.bp.com/sectiongenericarticle.do?categoryId=9007614&contentId=7014990). Does anyone know if BP Solar has been swallowed into this new sub-company? 128.12.125.162 04:06, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
