The Pediatric Cancer toy drive is an event held every year half way to Christmas, to raise toys for Children being treated for cancer in local hospitals. The event was created by Bradley Pogofsky in 2007. The first annual event took place Tuesday July 24, 2007 at Plush on Madison Avenue. Over 200 people attended the event and 2,800 toys were collected. The toy were delivered to Childrens's Memorial Hospital. The event website is www.myspace.com/toydrive. Brad started the event after Mark Staehely, a young boy who died from cancer at 18 years old. Prior to his passing, Mark raised thousands of toys for other less fortunate kids on his oncology floor. Thus the "Treasure Chest" was created. A chest filled with toys all year long for any cancer patient to take one if he/she is having a tough day. All of the toys raised last year were donated to Mark's Treasure Chest at Childrens Memorial Hospital and silent auction proceeds went to The mark Staehely pediatric cancer foundation.

PLEASE REFER ANYONE YOU KNOW TOUCHED BY CANCER - we'll get him/her connected. Founded by cancer survivor Jon Imerman
