"Hello, I wrote an entry on Boyfriend Robotique, a performance troupe from California. I spent a lot of time making sure I had all my facts straight but my article has been selected for deletion since the group is apparently non-notable. How does wikipedia define notable? If you google Boyfriend Robotique you find several pages of links to shows and fan pictures and appearances on blogs/myspace pages. I saw them several times this Summer and am keen to catalogue them (I had hoped to do so with other emerging artists too)... Also, I have been criticized for not referencing where I found out the group were thrown out of Canada. I don't have access to the legal paperwork obviously, but I did read it in the Bay Times; if I add this as a reference will it suffice?" -WarthogDemon 02:44, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Please read the page WP:N to get an idea of how Wikipedia defines notability. Also see WP:RS which is a guideline of what's considered "reliable sources" in establishing notability. Unfortunately blogs and MySpace are not considered reliable sources. If you can find a reference from the newspaper about their exile from Canada, it would probably be a good idea to include it. ... discospinster talk 02:56, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
