Boymongoose released their first single, 12 Days Of Christmas, on Brisbane's 96.5 FM and Briz31 in 2004, and after positive feedback, the band went on to record Christmas in Asia Minor. The album garnered radio airplay in Australia, United States, and Germany. The music video for 12 Days of Christmas, initially broadcast via YouTube, was picked up by MTV India who featured the music video during the 2006 Christmas season.
