"Boxing" is a song from Ben Folds Five's 1995 self-titled debut album^[1]. It was written by Ben Folds^[2]. A live version appears on the album Naked Baby Photos^[3].

The song was inspired by Ben Folds' father's love of boxing^[4], and is written from the perspective of Muhammad Ali about the indecision whether or not to quit boxing professionally^[5].
