boxes is an independent film which was made for less than $300 by filmmakers Rene Besson and James Portolese. Boxes is about the boxes that dominate our everyday lives. You wake up in a box (your apartment), greeted by a box (your television), drive in a box (your car), work in a box ( your cubicle), talk to most people from a box (your phone) - from the cradle to the coffin, life is a series of boxes. You're in one, whether you realize it or not.
