Boxcar Sessions is the debut album released on Saafir. It was released in 1994 on Qwest Records and featured production from Saafir, Slueth, Big Nose, J Groove and Jay Z (Not to be confused with Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter). Three singles were released: "Battle Drill," "Light Sleeper," and "Just Riden," but neither the singles or the album itself made it to the Billboard charts.
