Description
English: Bowlingclub an the Grylls Monument
Deutsch: Der Bowlingclub und im Hintergrund das Grylls Monument. Auf dem Gelände des heutigen Bowlingclubs stand vermutlich bis in das 16. Jahrhundert das Schloss von Helston. Der Club wurde 1760 geründet und ist damit wohl der älteste Bowlingclub Englands. Das Grylls Monument wurde in Gedenken an Humphry Millet Grylls 1834 errichtet, er bewarte während einer Wirtschaftskriese 1830 die Miene "Wheal Vor" von der Schließung.
