[edit] Intention for article to stay minimal
In creating this short article, I intend for it to stay tiny, essentially a pointer to the two larger articles on Boston Common and Boston Public Garden. It appears to be only an accident that the two were grouped together in one listing on the National Register in 1972, rather than listed separately. The situation was remedied in 1987 by their separate listings on the National Register, at the same time as they were each further designated as National Historic Landmarks.
I am classifying this as a "list" article, as it is just a list of 2 items, and as classification as a "stub" would suggest further development is wanted, which is not the case. doncram (talk) 16:46, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
