Well ... I did some work on Turkey and Armenia in 1920`s ... There is this Boris Legran. By the best of efforts ... I cant find in any of the sources ... if that B Legran, the diplomat, is actually this B.V. Legran, the museum director ... He could be ... Both were hard-line communists, one would think, the position of director to a world-class museum could be a appropriate reward for good field-work on the Caucassus ... the years are more or less consistent ...

If I got it right, he dissapeared during the early 1930`s - during the pogrom`s ... If one knows more ... feel free ...
