Boomtown Casino New Orleans is a riverboat casino located on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish in Harvey, Louisiana. It is on a 54 acre site. Boomtown is owned by Pinnacle Entertainment.

Boomtown is the largest riverboat casino in south Louisiana. It has over 1,500 slots and video poker games, over 50 table games, and is open 24 hours a day.

In December 2006, the board of directors for Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. approved a major expansion for the Boomtown Casino. It is expected to cost $145 million dollars. The expansion is planned to include a 200 room, four-star hotel with a spa and salon; an expansion of the existing Boomers nightclub; an Asian restaurant; additional meeting space; a new employee dining area and a refurbishment and expansion of the existing buffet.[1]. The expansion is suppose to start during the first quarter of 2007 and be finish during the second quarter of 2008.
