User talk:Bonjour Quebec

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm afraid it's not that simple. First and foremost, the article about Québec is an encyclopaedia article, so it isn't the right place to add what amounts to an infomercial about tourism in Quebec. Second, in order for you to be allowed to introduce otherwise copyrighted material into Wikipedia, a release would have to be signed by someone from the Tourisme Québec site and sent to the legal department of Wikipedia (english) granting you the right to port the text to Wikipedia (and also releasing the text to the public domain).--Ramdrake 15:39, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tourism in Quebec

A tag has been placed on Tourism in Quebec, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. When you sign your post with your user name, i have noticed that you simply type out your user name. The correct and easier way of doing it is by adding 4 "~" at the end of a post, if you click edit this page, you will see an example of what i am talking about. Thanks!
