Bonde söker fru ("Farmer Seeks Wife") is a Swedish television programme broadcast by TV4 based on the Fremantle format Farmer Wants a Wife. It is based around a number of single farmers who gets to meet a number of women. Eventually one of the farmers will marry one of the women on television.
It premiered in 2006 with two episodes in the spring where the farmers were presented. Those interrested in the farmers are then allowed to write to the show. The main show is then shown in the autumn. It proved very successful, averaging 1,5 million viewers per episode.
For the second season, the show also includes to female farmers. Although none of them are lesbians, the name of the show hasn't changed.
