Boluochia zhengi was an enantiornithine bird. It lived during the Early Cretaceous in the time span 121.6-110.6 mya[1] (late Aptian-early Albian) and is known from fossils found in the Jiufotang Formation of Liaoning province, People's Republic of China. Boluochia was first described by Zhou in 1995[2]. Some consider it a relative of Cathayornis (also known as Sinornis) and Eocathayornis, but this is not universally accepted.
