Bolitoglossa rufescens is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family. It is found in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and plantations . It is threatened by habitat loss.
