The Derek Bok Public Service Prizes recognize creative initiatives in community service or long-standing records of civic achievement among degree and certificate graduates at Harvard University. [1]
The Astronomical Society of Australia and the Australian Academy of Science also jointly sponsor a prize known as The Bok Prize [2] to encourage interest in Astronomy amongst undergraduate students in Australian universities. The prize is named to commemorate the energetic work of Bart Bok in promoting the undergraduate and graduate study of astronomy in Australia, during his term as Director of the Mount Stromlo Observatory.
