Boise Meridian

The Boise Meridian, longitude 116° 24' 15" west from Greenwich, passes through the initial point established south 29° 30' west, nineteen miles distant from Boise City (near Kuna, Idaho), extends north and south through the state, and, with the base line in latitude 43° 46' north, governs the surveys in the state of Idaho.
