Talk:Bofills båge

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Just for the record, I sum up my re-make of this article.

It seems that the article in its former state had quite a few flaws. Most of the text was a poor re-write of the architect´s description from his own webpage. The re-write caused some not fully uncontroversial statements by the architect to sound like encyclopedic facts. Also some blatant errors such as that this was the first precast concrete building in Sweden was included in the text. The first pre-cast concrete buildings in Sweden were erected in the 1950s.

The name of the building "Pa Soder Crescent" also seems not to be the right name of the building. Even if it says so on the architect´s homepage it is doubtful, since it is a inconsequent and ungrammatic mix of swedish and english. "Pa Soder" or "På Söder" as it should be in swedish means "In the borough of Söder". Probably some person on Bofill´s office made up this confusing name by mistake and it also seems that it has become a minor internet hoax.
