[edit] Career

Elfman has had film roles in Mercury Rising, Collateral, Godzilla and Armageddon, and smaller parts in The Mod Squad, Keeping the Faith and Gone in 60 Seconds.[2][3][1][4][5] Elfman played one of three NSA computer geeks in Mercury Rising, and The Arizona Star wrote of their performance: "They die one at a time, of course, amid pathetic attempts at hip, contemporary nerd dialogue."[6]

Elfman starred in the UPN television series Freedom, alongside Holt McCallany, Scarlett Chorvat and Darius McCrary, and in Pirates of Silicon Valley alongside Noah Wyle and Anthony Michael Hall.[7][8] He appeared in the short-lived ABC television series, Hiller and Diller, and guest-starred in an episode of Sliders.[9][10] Elfman also guest-starred in his wife's television show Dharma & Greg, playing a performance artist who asks Dharma to be a part of his living display gallery.[11]

[edit] Personal life

Bodhi Elfman is the son of Richard Elfman and nephew of composer Danny Elfman.[12] In February 1995, he married Golden Globe winning actress Jenna Elfman.[13] The Elfmans are both Scientologists.[14][15][16] The couple met while auditioning for a Sprite commercial.[12][17] Jenna Elfman credits Scientology with sustaining their marriage.[18]

In 2000, Bodhi and Jenna Elfman bought a 5,000 square foot home in the Hollywood Hills from Madonna, for USD$4 million.[19] On July 23, 2007, the couple welcomed son Story Elias.[13]
