  • Paulus-church, the oldest protestant church within the city. It was built between 1655 and 1659 as a simple renaissance building after the Westphalien-Peace of 1648. It burned down completely during an air attack on the 12th of June 1943. After the war it was reconstructed in its former style as a village-church.
