Greg is a chaplain with the Florida Department of Corrections at Liberty C.I., Bristol, Florida. He has been the staff chaplain there for four years.

In the winter of 2002, Greg walked into a world of misconception. Having only TV to give him a sense of what being inside a prison was like, he made his way through the front fence, down the prison street into a modest chapel. God only knew that this was a divine appointment. Four years later, Greg is not only still the staff chaplain, but has developed a music program that would lead one to believe you were walking into one of the most progressive churches in America. With the help of Digidesign, Inc., and the approval of the Florida D.O.C., Greg and the Inmate Praise Team of Liberty Chapel are writing and producing praise and worship music that speaks from a place where nothing is expected to be birthed - a prison.

With a suitcase full of experience, Greg Faulkenberry took his position as chaplain at Liberty C.I. Chapel . Spending half his life as a member of Living Word Fellowship in Panama City, Florida, Greg served as drummer, singles minister, home group leader and in any other capacity the body needed. Through these years of service Greg knew there was a call upon his life to be in a position where all his gifts and desires would be fulfilled. Knowing this, he prepared. He graduated from College with a Bachelors in Theology, received ordination and continued cultivating the gifts that would play a major role in his future environment at Liberty C.I. Although Greg was convinced that the role of pastor and preacher would be his forte gifts, God had other plans. The psalmist anointing began pouring out of Greg. He began speaking vision into the Inmates at the chapel and God began to move. After the first two years at the prison, Greg hooked up with corporations such as Digidesign and Mackie. With this support the praise and worship ministry of Liberty Chapel has begun recording the music that has been birthed from their hearts.

As this ministry has grown, Greg is reaching out to the community churches through exciting praise and worship that will impact generations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Greg and his lovely wife Terrie have three kids - Krista, Hunter and Rachel. They reside in FLORIDA

Where no one will go - where some say Your wind refuses to blow A desert of sand - that smoothes away the rough places in my heart Of which many prescribe to be a walking grave Surely it is because I die to myself You can choose to live your life on this side You can choose to live your life on that side Surely your death can be where ever Jesus is Of all places - He is where I am Or am I only privileged to be where He is? Of all places He chooses to call you right where you are standing To all places He calls to find someone who will Of all places
