[edit] Importance settings for two Derby-area stubs
Hmm - can't really how you can set Sunnyhill to mid importance (I'd put it low, despite the fact I grew up there :-),; no one quite knows where it is) and the CHPR as a low importance train line. Because of its earliness and its construction (which mimicked a canal in its extensive use of inclines) it is surely mid-importance to the train project. Bob aka Linuxlad 17:45, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
OK, Sunnyhill is an ill-defined suburb of Derby, not a free-standing town, so reduced to low.
The CHPR is mid importance as a train article, because of its early and unusual construction ( it was 'canal-like' in its use of inclines)
On boldness, I prefer an attempt at consensus, and for that it always helps to start from understanding something of the other guys point of view. Bob aka Linuxlad 19:04, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Portal:UK Trams selected article and image voting page
Hi. Just a note that I changed the formatting for nominating articles and images, at Portal:UK Trams/Nominate/Selected article and Portal:UK Trams/Nominate/Selected picture, slightly by removing the table format as a similar formatting I used on Portal:London Transport/Vote seems to have caused problems for some users. My original intention was for the table to be used as a border to the recommended format, but I later realised that it would be used as part of the actual formatting. Thanks. [edit] Did you know
Other news ... I though you may be interested to know that a (small) picture of a Derby School old boy will be on the wikipedia main page in the next 12 hours or so. Alleyne FitzHerbert is the lead DYK. I think I have excelled myself here ..... another Derby story soncerning Charles Paget (conspirator) and my home village of Weston on Trent is in the same bunch Victuallers 11:31, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
