Blue Star Elevators (India) was established in 1994.

The founder, chairman and managing director is Mr Lawrence D'Souza (b. 1st September 1949).

Another key individual was Mr Roshan D'Souza (b. 3rd November 1975), C.E.O of the South Indian Division, who established several branches all over India and also pioneered the installation of the first fully automatic elevator for his company.
