Alicia Witt plays Reena, an arson investigator who, as a child, sees her family business burn down. Years later she purchases a home in the old neighborhood where she meets her neighbor, Bo Goodnight (Matthew Settle). Meanwhile, she begins to get threatening messages from a psychopathic arsonist who knows a lot about her past. He makes several attempts on her life as well as those around her .
