Blue California is a Southern California based ingredient manufacturer who manufactures highly purified botanical extracts and specialty ingredients using raw materials from around the world. In April 2006, NSF awarded the GMP registration to Blue California's manufacturing facility in China; Blue California is only the third US manufacturer to successfully meet NSF’s strict requirements for GMP registration.
Blue California's GMP and ISO-9000-certified facility produces non-irradiated ingredients using steam and ozone sterilization that meet the strictest quality and safety requirements. There are currently more than 550 Kosher-certified ingredients in the product line.

Blue California, founded in 1994, has become a respected and well-recognized manufacturer of botanical extracts and specialty ingredients. Blue California's innovative approach to product research and development has earned them recognition within the industry for the quality and value of manifactured ingredients. Blue California's research and development department in China employs dedicated scientists whose objective is to improve the manufacturing processes and the quality of raw materials. In California, Blue California's quality control department follows a stringent quality control protocol that includes HPLC, microbiology, identity testing, PSL-assurance as well as ICP-MS pesticide screening to ensure the quality and safety of manufactured ingredients.
