This template is a self reference and should be affixed to talk pages only.

Note: To affix this message to the talk page of a living person biography it is generally preferable to use {{WPBiography|living=yes}} instead. Besides adding the living persons biography warning it will add the article to the Wikipedia 1.0 assessments list (Index · Statistics · Log).

{{Blpo}} is suitable for other articles containing information on people that are deceased but has information pertaining to others that are still alive.
