Why on Earth does Wikipedia blacklist TinyURL and Encyclopedia Dramatica hyperlinks?

I do not buy the "prevents spammers" argument, as it is trivial to register a domain and provide a redirection to wherever. Blob (talk) 19:17, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
