Template talk:Blocked user

This template is only for use among banned rather than simply blocked users. None of the existing templates spell out explicitly what a ban means and what the results are. There was a gap there. This one explains both to the banned user and anyone visiting their page their status and the fact that their edits are reverted on sight. FearÉIREANN\^(caint) 00:27, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
