[edit] Blowfly's Rap Dirty released in 1980 not1965

Inaccurate sources on the internet have said that this single was the first recorded rap song because it was released in 1965. It was not released in 1965 and Blowfly's official website clearly shows this http://www.blowflymusic.com/discog.html. According to Blowfly's official website 7" and 12" versions of the single were released in 1979 and 1980. Here is another website which lists all the TK records catalog http://www.discomusic.com/labels-more/58_0_9_0_C/. Rap Dirty is #TKD 438. The B side of the same single is called "Blowfly's Rap".

Blowfly's official website also clearly shows that Clarence Reid had a song in called 1965 "Rap Dirty" and that the 1980 song is a remake: http://www.blowflymusic.com/bio.html MrBlondNYC (talk) 05:40, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
