Bloomingdale Cornet Band

The Bloomingdale Cornet Band, from Bloomingdale, New Jersey, is the oldest continually active band in the Garden State, still organized under its original name. On May 30, 1884, and played its first parade on the what is now known as Memorial Day.

The band, which is composed of volunteers, remains active today, marching in parades and performing in concerts around the northern New Jersey area.
