I started this article, please extend it - especially synopsis and interpretation could use some enhancement. Maybe also the underlying sexual attraction between Bertha and Pearl and the lack thereof between Bertha and Harry would be worth mentioning. (clem 18:51, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC))
